Healing is God's will for everyone sick today.
Matthew 8:2-3(NKJV)
2. And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, IF YOU ARE WILLING, You can make me clean.”
3. Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I AM WILLING; be cleansed.”Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
God feels the same about everyone else. He does not afflict anyone with sicknesses and diseases either to prove a point or to teach someone a lesson. Rather, he specializes in healing and delivering the oppressed.
Acts 10:38(NKJV)
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about DOING GOOD AND HEALING ALL WHO WERE OPPRESSED BY THE DEVIL, for God was with Him.
So is God ever willing that the sick be healed? YES.
However, after being healed, there is such a thing as KEEPING YOUR HEALING.
When you get healed and it is confirmed, STOP DOING THINGS IN MEMORY OF THE SICKNESS.
Healed of eye defect? Stop using the recommended glasses. Raised from the wheelchair? Don't sit on it again.
And very importantly, if for any reason you get to feel a symptom of that illness a while after being healed, don't accept it. That's the devil at work. Confess God's healing over your life and insist on it. That's how to keep your healing.
“The devil comes to all of us to try to steal whatever blessings we receive from God. He attempts to introduce doubts into our minds. If we are experiencing doubts about a healing we have received, we must recognize that the source of the doubt is the devil. It’s also important to realize that healing is something we receive and keep by faith. You can combat doubts by reminding yourself of the moment you released faith for healing. Surround yourself with people who believe in the power of God. Read the Bible and encourage yourself with God’s promises of healing. Pray daily to stay close to God, and keep your mind fixed on Jesus. All these things can help you push doubt out of your life so that you can hold on to your healing.” — Oral Roberts (Healing).
Blessings.
